Foundation Module 1: What is Change Management?

This module observes change management as a process, explaining each stage that needs to be completed to implement organisational changes.


Foundation Module 2: Identifying Change 1: Strategy & Drivers

This module looks at models used to understand businesses and organizational change. The drivers behind ‘change’ are examined in detail, and students also learn how to design and implement strategies for successful change initiatives.


Foundation Module 3: Identifying Change 2: Culture Roles & Vision

This module examines ‘organizational culture’ and its effect on change initiatives. It also looks at crucial roles within the change process and the benefits of having a clear vision for transformation initiatives.


Foundation Module 4: Plan the Change

This module examines change planning, including how to measure impact, prepare organizations and individuals for change, and create plans for dealing with resistance.


Foundation Module 5: Change & the Individual

This module looks at individuals and how they are affected by change. This includes the impact of education and motivation on those resistant to change.


Foundation Module 6: Stakeholder Engagement

This module examines ‘stakeholder engagement’. Getting support from stakeholders is critical for successfully carrying out change initiatives. Students learn how to ensure that different stakeholders can be kept satisfied and engaged throughout the change process.


Foundation Module 7: Communication

This module looks at establishing communication requirements as part of a change strategy. This includes how to plan and execute communication throughout a change initiative.

Practice Exam Simulators

This module features two practice papers for the APMG Change Management® Foundation certification exam. Both are provided by the APMG. Students are advised to use the papers to get used to exam conditions before attempting the certification exam.


Assessment 

This course is designed to fully prepare students to sit and pass the APMG Change Management® Foundation exam.


This course comes with mock exams to help students prepare, along with a FREE exam voucher.

Before booking your exam, ensure your device meets the technical requirements. 

You can do so via this online test, which will determine the suitability of your webcam, microphone, and internet connection. 


Change Management exams are invigilated by ProctorU on behalf of APMG International.


Change Management Foundation Exam:

· This is a multiple-choice exam consisting of 50 questions

· The pass mark for the exam is 50%: you must get 25 out of 50 questions correct

· There is a time limit of 40 minutes to complete the exam

· The exam is a closed book, with only the provided materials being permitted for use


Change Management Practitioner Exam:

· This is a complex multiple-choice exam

· There are four questions, each worth 20 marks, based on a case study scenario

· The exam is a restricted open-book exam. The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook may be used 

· Each question offers 20 marks

· The exam lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes)

· To pass, candidates must score at least 50% (40 marks out of 80)
